The First Acıbadem in Anatolia
As the first hospital of Acıbadem Hospitals Group in Anatolia, Acıbadem Bursa Hospital started to admit its first patients in 2006. Providing services in all areas of modern medicine, the hospital offers oncology service and includes an Organ Transplantation Centre in which kidney and liver transplantations are performed.
Operating on contract with many health insurance types, the hospital provides SSI contract services in areas of Emergency Care, Tissue and Organ Transplantation, Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology.
30.000 m² of Covered Area
Within the 30.000 m² of covered area of the hospital, there are 133 bed, 67 intensive-care beds (coronary, neonatal, general and cardiovascular surgery intensive care units), 10 operation rooms, 1 delivery room, a LDRP room in which deliveries can be made, an air ambulance available at all times for emergency cases and a helicopted pad. Thus, patients arriving from other cities and are in need to immediate intervention can be taken under treatment immediately. In the emergency unit, separate intervention, resuscitation and observation rooms are available.
At the hospital, 4-Dimensional Breast Ultrasound, 3-Dimensional Tomosynthesis Digital Mammography, PET/CT, Da Vinci Robot, 1.5 Tesla MRI, 2 Linear Accelerators, Gamma Camera, Digital Fluroscopy and Digital Panoramic X-ray Devices are available.
Among the medical units of Acıbadem Bursa Hospital, which includes an Organ Transplantation Centre and an In-vitro Fertilization Centre, a Sleep Laboratory, an Obesity Clinic, a Pain Clinic, a Varicose Vein Clinic and a Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Centre are available.
Decontamination Rooms Against Chemical Injuries
Taking into account the fact the Bursa is an industrial city, a special decontamination room for chemical and nuclear injuries is available in the hospital. In this room, patients infected with chemicals and radioactive areas are desinfected. For patients coming to the emergency units with suspected infection, there is a specially designed isolation room available.
A Closed Intensive Care System
In the closed intensive care system, the patients stay in separate private rooms in a manner to protect the patient's privacy. Day-light receiving areas and rooms with sufficient technical infrastructure are reserved for intensive-care patients. In the neonatal unit of Acıbadem Bursa Hospital, 5 incubators, 7 open beds, 1 transport incubator, 7 breathing apparatuses, 3 phototherapy (one of them tunnel phototherapy) devices and 12 regular neonatal beds are available.
