A Hospital of Firsts
As one the pioneers in modern health services in Turkey and admitting the first patients under International Hospital brand in 1989, the hospital joined Acıbadem Hospitals Group in 2005. As of 2014, the hospital still continues its activities under the name of Acıbadem International Hospital and has become a reference hospital for foreign patients as well since the day it was founded.
Operating on contract with many health insurance types, the hospital provides Emergency, Pediatric Cardiology, Tissue and Organ Transplantation, Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery services as part of the SSI contract
19.000 M² of Covered Area
With a covered area of 19.000 m², Acıbadem International Hospital underwent a renovation process in 2006 in which all clinic areas, physician examination rooms and inpatient floors were made more comfortable for both patients and employees. In Acıbadem International Hospital, a total of 112 patient beds- 16 of which are intensive-care beds- and additionally 22 patient observation beds are available.
In the medical devices section of Acıbadem International Hospital, Breast Ultrasound and Doppler, Full Body MRI, Cardiac Tomography, Telemetry System, 3-Dimensional Panoramic X-ray and a CEREC device are used for diagnosis and treatment.
Focusing on kindey transplantation in Organ Transplantation Centre, the International Hospital provides medical services in medical units specialized on Cardiovascular Health, In-vitro Fertilization and Breast Health.
Continuing to provide service in many branches of medicine, the hospital includes units of General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Thoracic Surgery, Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Menopause Polyclinic as well as Outpatient Chemotherapy Unit, Sleep Laboratory and Cateter Laboratory.
Intensive Care Units
Various investments have been made in intensive care area since Acıbadem International Hospital was founded. As a result of these efforts, intensive care units were founded (general intensive care, open heart surgery intensive care, coronary intensive care and neonatal intensive care). In addition to these units, emergency observation beds and observation units following coronary angiography are also available. Moreover, a personalized intensive care room system is implemented in order to ensure maximum privacy for the patient. The hospital currently has 26 intensive care beds.
